Novel Progress

Ugh. Ok, only 605 words today so far on my novel "Hollow Hearts and Hollow Hills." I've closed the scene I was enjoying so much--well, not really closed it, but I'm transitioning to a new scene (requiring more research).

I did allow my characters to paint us all into a corner yesterday and today we wriggled out. I like the results, but, like everything else, they will need polishing.

But now I need to do more "obligatory" things...

Hope you all are writing!

It sounds like this is going to be an interesting book - I can't wait to pick up a copy at Borders. So you've got at least one eager reader waiting for you to finish up. Hope that gives you at least a tiny bit of inspiration.

"Obligatory" things --->>> what could be more obligatory than writing? ;-)

I HOPE ;-) it's going to be interesting to a bunch of readers--I'm trying to keep my target audiences in the back of my mind while I'm working (they only get the back of my mind since most of the rest is filled with all sorts of gobbledy-gook ;-).

And Ray, I look forward to you being able to buy MY book in Borders... :-) Believe me, from someone as well-educated and socially aware as you --your interest is GREAT inspiration :-)

Take care!

Oh, I know, I know--Nothing else should be a grander obligation (or more pleasant one) than writing, but the chickens must be fed, the dinner fixed, the Board satisfied! :p Busy, busy! :o)
